Strict reception report

I currently use a Tecsun PL660 and in case of excessively low S/N ratio the Twente SDR and some Kiwis.

The first day the signal was absent from all the sources I was able to contact, so I switched to the
transmission streaming.

The second day I got some faint traces on Twente SDR (morse signals) and extremely faint SSTV sections.
Went on the streaming, amazed by the frontal skull image, slowly forming in the silence of the night.

Today (third day) I am in my office, banned from ghosts, sdrs and youtube channels. I'll try again tomorrow for the final transmission.

By SWL standard, not such an interesting report, but

Some reflections on ghosts, fragments and mirrors.

The beauty and aesthetic value of whole project for me goes beyond the transmission part and encompass the multiple sdr sources, the youtube files and the reception reports.

In my language (italian) as in french we use the word "spettro" both for ghost and electromagnetic "spectrum". It comes from the latin spectrum "vision, ghost", from spectāre "to observe" or from specere "to look at". So a ghost, and a spectrum, is a vision.

The HAARP ghost was observed/recorded from multiple listeners/watchers in different places eith different results. By now fthe real (?) ghost was elusive or me , so I went for secondary mirrors, recollecting images and narratives from other fragmentary sources.

This aesthetic of multiplicity of fragmentary, incomplete sources ("disiecta membra", ad Umberto Eco put it in The name of the Rose describing the fragments of the manuscripts of the burned down library) is fascinating, the elusive presence of your transmitted memories and art right in accordance with the very nature of spectres (both spiritual and electromagnetic). I'm perceiving the different reports and pictures and recordings like images of the same "ghost" partially refected in multiple, imperfect mirrors (the first mirror the ionosphere).

I appreciate that it is not by now available the "source ghost', the original material transitted with Haarp. All we have is fragments, intermediated by the law of physics, ionosphere, technology and perception. There is a strong Borgesian "noise floor" in all of this, with the nice touch of the red flower (a rose?) pattern.

I got a glimpse of the 25th broadcast, so on the 26 I set up a websdr station with 5 instances, one on each station broadcasting. To make things more SWL, I paired the websdr with my small Grundig WR5401.Fair reception expecially on 11.580.
