Fetters-Walp, Eric / n/a

I listened from approximately 0601 UTC to the final sign-off for the night at 0629 UTC. Using the Eton Elite Field as my main radio and a Sihuadon R-108 radio connected to an MLA-30+ loop as my backup, I listened to movements on 5.4, 4.85, 9.5, and 3.3 MHz during tonight's session. The noise made everything just a little hard to hear, but it was a great experiment nonetheless. Thank you for doing this!

Note

I missed most of the first minute-long movement, but in the "Where Do I Start" section, I could hear a woman's voice reading at 0601 UTC on 5.4 Mhz. The 4.8 frequency was hard to hear due to CODAR interference. This movement signed off at 0605 UTC.

I was using an Eton Elite Field radio with an outdoor long-wire antenna.

Note

For this movement, I thought I could hear the woman's voice reading again for a moment or two, but that was replaced at 0608 until sign-off at 0611 UTC by a very loud sustained tone or hum. It was more audible on 9.5 than on 3.3, though I could indeed hear it on both frequencies.

This section sounded like a woman reading/talking again, with the content not quite readable. During this time, the 4.8 frequency was especially hit by CODAR interference and thus, I couldn't hear the broadcast on that frequency.
