Unfortunately, the selected frequencies and the orientation of the beams resulted in unusable signals in
Europe. Using an Icom R8500 receiver and a Wellbrook ALA­1530 antenna, I could only detect a faint
carrier on the higher of the frequencies used, such as 7900 kHz and 8000 kHz. A short video of the carrier
signal, as received with an RTL­SDR dongle and the Wellbrook antenna in Thessaloniki, Greece, on the
