Tai, Vincent / KM6VHD
Receiver was a Yaesu FT-450D, connected to ATAS-25 vertical antenna temporarily set up on a tripod in the backyard, to the west of the house. I had 4 5-meter radial wires attached to the antenna.

Recording begins with the receiver tuned to 9.56, picking up what sounds like a Chinese shortwave station that was overpowering the HAARP transmission. I moved to 9.06 after about a minute. |

Note
The sweeping noise that can be heard at the start and occasionally throughout this recording is the noise of the switching power supply that powers the radio. I think I could maybe hear a little bit of the NBTV transmission for a few seconds (about 2:40 in the recording? or am I just imagining it?), but most of the time I could not even tell that there was even a signal. |
